Kimball Scholarship Program Update
This program awarded grants of $18,000 distributed in 2012 to six applicants. Over the nine years of the fund, over $143,000 has been distributed.
As background, the program was established by the late Jack Kimball's family in honor of his memory. Mr. Kimball was Topsfield Town Moderator for 28 years, a noted attorney and World War II and Korean War decorated Marine Fighter Pilot who attained the rank of Lieutenant. Colonel. The program is administered by three trustees, two from the Kimball family and one elected official of the Historical Society.
The program is limited to Individuals who have a substantial connection to Topsfield and who have a history related
project or expense.
The program is now open and applications will be accepted until April 15th, 2013
